Rhonda is a hybrid coach, uniquely blending both personal training and clinical soft tissue hands-on therapy, like Active Release Techniques®, to optimize her clients’ quality of life and work towards health and wellness.
As a hybrid coach, Rhonda can take better care of her clients and work with a wide variety of clients. After analyzing a client’s movement and posture, Rhonda can then apply hands-on therapy to address dysfunction and pain and select specific exercises to correct body imbalances and asymmetries. She helps return her clients to optimal movement and a healthy lifestyle, through functional performance training, pre and post rehab training, strength improvements, and enhancing recovery.
Rhonda also utilizes manual therapy techniques like neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue, orthopedic, corrective, sports, medical, and body mobilization to help her clients with pain relief and discomfort from muscular and flexibility imbalances.
Rhonda is a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), an Active Release Techniques® (ART®) Certified Provider and a licensed massage therapist. She has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and majored in Exercise Science at The University of Texas at Austin.
Rhonda has completed an internship program with Austin Fitness Clinic, Functional Sports Therapy and Fitness, North Austin Sports Medicine, and the Fitness Institute of Texas.
