Sam is President and owner of Austin Fitness Clinic.  He has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Texas at Austin, and is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine.  

Sam specializes in working with clients who have chronic pain as a result of postural imbalances and an inactive lifestyle as well as postpartum conditions including diastasis recti and incontinence.  By correcting strength/flexibility imbalances and returning a client to healthy movement, Sam’s goal is to keep his clients from requiring surgical intervention to treat their pain.  Many clients also see Sam post-surgery to speed their recovery and prevent further treatment with surgery and drugs.

Marci is Vice President and Owner of Austin Fitness Clinic.  She has a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies: Fitness and Nutrition from Texas State University, and holds a CPT certification through the American College of Sports Medicine.

With a BS in Kinesiology from The University of Texas, Jake Norman is a certified fitness specialist, licensed massage therapist, and active release techniques (ART) provider.  ART is a state of the art soft tissue therapy that precisely evaluates and treats injuries.  With over 500 treatment protocols, art treats muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia, and nerves.

Jake started his career in the health industry as a trainer that specialized in functional performance and rehabilitation. Before becoming an art provider, jake became a licensed massage therapist through the Lauterstein-Conway school of massage.

Laura's extensive background in personal training, athletics, teaching, and coaching gives her valuable insight into the physiology and biomechanics of the human body.  A former Division I swimmer at TCU and rower at UT, Laura has competed at an elite level.  Most recently, on the world stage, Laura has earned the title of 3-time Masters Swimming World Champion, in the 50-meter breaststroke (2) and 50-meter freestyle (1).  As an avid participant in swimming, Olympic weightlifting, tennis, softball, sand volleyball, water/snow skiing, archery, hiking, rafting, and kayaking, Laura understands the need for a strong, healthy body to enjoy an active lifestyle for decades to come.

With close to a decade of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer, Sharon brings enthusiasm, energy, and expertise to every interaction with every client. She understands the unique needs of busy parents, business professionals, and high school/college students who are committed to making fitness a priority. Her personal training philosophy is that what you do inside the gym should enhance your life outside the gym. She believes in a whole-body, balanced approach to life.

Certified by the Cooper Clinic in Dallas, Sharon specializes in goal-setting for maximum health and transformation, weight loss, nutrition, functional core training, and focused preparation for specific activities, including marathons, triathlons, and other intensive physical challenges. An avid runner, cyclist and hiker, she also practices what she preaches.

When not guiding clients to their personal-fitness best, Sharon stays busy as the mom of three children.

Sondra has been involved in the personal training and fitness industry since her days in high school. Originally from New England, she graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BS in Exercise Physiology and a BS in Psychology.  At UNH she competed on the cross country, track and field, and cycling teams.  Clinically, Sondra was involved with the Cardiac Rehabilitation program for patients recovering or prone to cardiovascular disease.  She was also an Exercise Physiologist for the Employee Fitness Program.  After graduation, she interned at the USA Triathlon National Training Center in Clermont, Florida where she worked with the 2004 Triathlon Olympic tea that competed in Athens. Following her internship she studied at the University of Texas at Austin in the graduate program for Exercise and Physiology and Sport Science and Nutrition.

 

Sondra is an expert personal trainer, competitive distance runner and former top-amateur triathlete. She has run numerous races including the Boston, NYC, and Chicago Marathons.  Her triathlon career included the sprint and ironman distances...and everything in between!  She currently trains for fun and incorporates running, biking, yoga, and strength training.  Sondra has trained many clients for their first 5K and others for marathons and triathlons.

Yvette is a combat veteran who proudly serves her country as a member of the Texas Army National Guard. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion with a specialization in Health Fitness Instruction from the University of Texas at Austin.
